Within the central village of Helmsdale, Gilbert’s has to offer our cosy apartment Fisherman’s Rest for rent. This is possible for either a short-break, weekly or on a long term basis according to availability.
Rates vary throughout the year, depending on whether you are visiting in low, medium or high season and the number of bedrooms being used. Prices start at £150 for a 3 day break out of season with a 10% discount voucher scheme for use in the Gilbert’s restaurant. Fisherman’s Rest is an ideal base for visiting Sutherland, Caithness, Orkney and the beautiful North Coast. Many of our guests enjoy fishing, golf, gold panning, visiting Dunrobin Castle and the Castle of Mey.
